Day 5
Cave Man
August 21 2011

We covered 184km's today, We are about 10km's past well 26, Having a ball but a bit bruised and battered but we can’t complain because life is good eating porterhouse with pepper sauce and enjoying a few Broo's.

The postie bikes are living up to their reliable reputation, thanks to a bit of duct tape and some bush mechanics but we have some seriously damaged rims.

The sand dunes are getting bigger but we are starting to get better at getting up 'em, because seriously, you don't wanna try this at home, Just in case you have a 10mtr high sand dune and a postie bike in your backyard.

We are in some awesome country but as riders we are not seeing any of it. We made it to the fuel dump at well 23, we hooked up with Dave who has busted his ass to re-join the crew, he has done a round trip of 2000 clicks that included a day and a half of repairing his Nissan thanks to Paul from Neves Engineering from Kalgoorlie. Cheers Paul.

That in itself is what it’s all about, not giving up! Which is the way Nadiya lived her life.
